What is a good 0-100 km/h time?

Under 4 seconds is supercar/high-performance EV territory. 4-7 seconds is a quick sedan or turbo-petrol SUV. 7-11 seconds is average for a typical Indian hatchback or sedan. Over 13 seconds is common for base-model or heavily loaded vehicles.

Does AWD always improve 0-100 km/h times?

AWD significantly helps from a dead stop on high-power cars (like the XUV700 or Fortuner 4x4) by distributing torque to all four wheels, reducing wheel spin. The difference is typically 0.3-0.8 seconds over an equivalent FWD/RWD car. On lower-power hatchbacks (under 100 PS), the extra weight of an AWD system often cancels the benefit.
